The VEVOR Electric Brewing System is an all-in-one unit for brewing beer at home. It combines a 9.2 gallon (35 L) stainless pot, a heating element, a circulating pump and a chilling coil, so mashing and boiling happen in a single vessel. VEVOR positions it as a way to move into all-grain brewing without assembling a large set of separate equipment.
One pot for mashing and boiling
All-grain brewing involves steeping crushed malt in warm water (the mash) to turn starch into fermentable sugar, then boiling the resulting wort with hops. Traditionally this takes several vessels and a burner. Here both stages take place in the same pot, which VEVOR says can brew up to 8 gallons of beer.
The inner pot that touches the food is described as 0.02-inch-thick 304 stainless steel. VEVOR lists capacity for mashing up to 17.6 lb of malt and saccharifying up to 18.7 lb.
Control panel: power, temperature and time
An LCD panel offers automatic and manual modes. In the listing, power is adjustable from 100 to 1800W, temperature from 25 to 100 °C and time from 1 to 180 minutes. The system can memorize up to 10 recipes and reminds you to add hops during the boil.
Step mashing is the standout feature. VEVOR describes automatic step mashing with 7 programmable stages, each with its own temperature and duration. Different temperature rests favour different enzymes, so brewers use steps to shape body and fermentability.
Circulating pump and arm
A pump recirculates wort through a circulating arm. In general, recirculation helps keep the temperature even throughout the mash and can clarify the wort as it passes through the grain bed. VEVOR says it improves efficiency and yield. The pump has its own on/off switch and a flow rate regulator, and the arm can be cleaned by water injection, according to the brand. A filter screen separates particles from the inner pot.
Cooling after the boil
Once the boil finishes, the wort must be cooled quickly before yeast goes in. VEVOR includes a 28.8-foot condensing coil for this job. Cooling speed depends on your water supply temperature and flow, so results will vary by season and location.
Where it fits
The unit measures 16.5 x 14.0 x 32.3 inches (about 42 x 36 x 82 cm) and weighs 25.4 lb (about 11.5 kg). VEVOR says a kitchen, basement, garage or patio can all serve as a brewing space and that it stores compactly afterwards. It is meant for brewers from beginners to experienced hobbyists, with both manual and automatic modes.
Who it suits
It suits home brewers who want electric, repeatable control of mash temperatures and who plan to make batches of a few gallons at a time. People who already own a large brewing setup may find it duplicates what they have; people who brew only the occasional extract kit may not need the mashing features.
What to check before you buy
- Electrical supply: 1800W is a high load, so confirm the outlet and circuit you plan to use can support it.
- Ventilation: boiling produces steam, so choose a space where moisture is not a problem.
- Water access for the chilling coil and a drain for the runoff.
- Batch size: make sure up to 8 gallons suits how much you actually brew and ferment.
- Fermenters, hoses, sanitiser and other equipment you will still need, since the listing covers the brewing stage only.
- Cleaning routine for the pump, arm and coil after each brew.
