The VEVOR electric sugar cane juicer (model YF-L100-115) is a stainless steel machine that presses the juice from whole cane stalks. It is built for juice stalls, beverage shops and hotel kitchens, and VEVOR also lists it for home use. Here is how it works and what the specs mean.

How a roller juicer works

Unlike a centrifugal juicer that shreds and spins, a sugar cane press feeds the stalk between rollers that squeeze the juice out. Cane is hard and fibrous, so the machine needs a strong motor and heavy rollers. The juice runs through a filter, and the dry fibre comes out the other side.

VEVOR's category listing calls it a centrifugal juicer, but its features describe a four-roller press.

Motor and output

VEVOR lists an 800W motor and four solid stainless steel rollers. The stated output is 661 lb per hour (about 300 kg per hour). That is a maximum figure, and actual output depends on the cane, its thickness and how steadily it is fed. The scale suggests a machine for repeated use by a stall or a busy kitchen.

Automatic roller pressure adjustment

The roll gap adjusts automatically to the size of the cane, so there is no manual setting. A 2.4 inch (about 6 cm) feed opening takes larger stalks. VEVOR's note says to sharpen one end of the cane and put that end into the feed opening first, which makes it easier for the rollers to catch.

Stainless steel build

VEVOR says the housing and rollers are SUS304 stainless steel. This grade is common in food equipment and generally resists rust and is easy to clean. A machine that handles sugary juice needs rinsing and cleaning after use, so check the manual for how to take it apart.

Filtering

A high-density filter screen catches coarse cane residue so the juice comes out smooth, according to VEVOR. How fine the result is depends on the screen, so clean it often.

Stability, size and weight

Rubber feet add stability and reduce vibration. The listing gives dimensions of 15.4 x 19.3 x 19.5 inches (about 39 x 49 x 50 cm) and a weight of 128 lb (about 58 kg). That is a heavy unit, so plan where it will sit and how it will be moved. The model code ends in 115, which points to a 115V supply.

Who it suits

VEVOR names beverage shops, outdoor stalls, fruit stores and hotel kitchens. It suits a business or a keen home user with the space and access to whole sugar cane. For occasional small batches, a lighter machine may be more practical.

What to check before you buy

  • Space and weight: at 128 lb, it needs a sturdy, level surface.
  • Power: check that the outlet and circuit suit an 800W motor at 115V.
  • Cane size: compare your stalks with the 2.4 inch feed opening.
  • Cleaning: look at how it comes apart, and who will clean it after each session.
  • Food rules: if you sell juice, check local food-handling rules.
  • Upkeep: ask about wear parts and how to look after the rollers.
