The VEVOR NS-2000E-2 is an automatic commercial orange juicer. It's a large floor-standing stainless-steel machine that feeds, peels, squeezes and filters whole oranges. VEVOR says it can process up to 20 oranges per minute, and it's meant for businesses that serve fresh juice regularly.

How the juicing works

Oranges are loaded into a storage basket on top and fed through a chute into the machine. VEVOR says it combines automatic peeling, juicing and filtering in one process, using a 120W motor and upgraded concave-convex balls to improve juice extraction. Peel is collected in the included buckets, and the juice passes through a filter before it's served.

The 20-oranges-a-minute figure is VEVOR's own figure, and real throughput depends on fruit size, ripeness and how steadily you feed it.

Feed chute and fruit size

The feed chute is built for oranges 55-80 mm (2.2-3.2 inches) across. That covers many standard juicing oranges, though very small or very large fruit may not feed well. The top storage basket holds a good quantity of pre-washed oranges, so you can load it and keep serving without refilling constantly.

Materials and cleaning

VEVOR says the juicer is made of food-grade SUS304 stainless steel and polycarbonate (PC). SUS304 is a common stainless grade for food-contact surfaces. Most parts detach for cleaning, and the pull-out filter box makes it easier to reach the filter, which VEVOR says helps keep the juice's pure taste. As with any juicing equipment, clean it after each session according to the manual, since fruit residue builds up.

Safety features

A transparent protective cover sits over the feeding area. VEVOR says it contains a pressure sensor that stops the machine when the cover is removed. The power switch also has a waterproof cover. Follow the manual for operation and cleaning, and keep fingers away from moving parts.

Size, weight and what's included

The juicer measures about 17.7 x 12.6 x 30.7 inches (45 x 32 x 78 cm) and weighs 88.2 lb (about 40 kg), so it needs a sturdy, level counter or stand and enough room above for the basket. The set includes a pull-out filter box, a PC cover and two peel-collecting buckets, and VEVOR says it comes with replacement parts.

Where it's used

VEVOR lists grocery stores, restaurants, fruit shops, cantinas, gym clubs, beverage outlets, bars and offices. Any place that sells or serves fresh orange juice in volume is the target, as opposed to a home kitchen where a small citrus press does the job.

What to check before you buy

  • Space and weight: measure the spot, including the height for loading the basket, and make sure the surface can take 88 lb.
  • Fruit size: your usual oranges should fall in the 55-80 mm range.
  • Power: check the voltage and outlet against the unit's plate and manual.
  • Cleaning routine: plan time to disassemble and rinse the removable parts.
  • Peel handling: think about where the peel buckets will sit and how often you'll empty them.
  • Local rules: commercial food equipment may need to meet local food-safety requirements, so check yours.
