The Roborock Flexi Lite (model WD3D3A) is a cordless wet-dry vacuum that picks up dust and spills and mops hard floors in one pass. It is designed to lie flat so it can reach under low furniture, and it cleans and dries its own roller afterwards.
Wet and dry cleaning in one pass
A wet-dry vacuum has a damp roller that scrubs the floor while suction draws dirty water and debris into a separate tank. That avoids pushing dirt around with a mop and then vacuuming separately. Roborock says the Flexi Lite handles fine dust, larger particles and wet messes on hard floors such as hardwood, tile and bare floors. It is built for hard surfaces, so check the manual before using it on rugs or carpet.
What 17,000 Pa of suction means
Pascals (Pa) measure suction pressure. Roborock rates this model at 17,000 Pa. Brands measure it differently, so the figure is best read as a general indicator rather than a direct comparison. Cleaning performance also depends on the roller, how well the head seals against the floor and how much water is applied.
FlatReach design
The head folds down to 180°, which Roborock calls FlatReach. It lets the machine go under furniture, and Roborock says it cleans up to 15 cm beneath it. The company also lists a backflow-prevention feature intended to stop dirty water running back onto the floor when the unit is tilted. The listing describes it as one-hand liftable at 8.8 lb (the dimensions list 10.6 lb, likely including packaging or accessories). A front-wheel assist makes pushing and pulling easier.
Self-cleaning and hot-air drying
After cleaning, the roller can be rinsed automatically, with the roller scraping and rolling water in two directions. Roborock says heated air at about 122°F then dries the roller. Drying matters because a roller that stays wet tends to develop odours.
Adaptive cleaning and battery
Roborock's Dirtect technology detects how dirty the floor is and adjusts power accordingly. The listing gives a 40-minute runtime and up to 4,520 square feet on a charge. Runtime in practice depends on the mode used.
Who it suits
It suits households with mostly hard floors that face sticky spills, pet mess or daily dust, and want a single tool instead of a vacuum and a separate mop. It is less suited to homes that are mostly carpet.
What to check before you buy
- Floor types: confirm that the manual approves your flooring, and what it says about rugs.
- Cleaning solution: check which solutions Roborock recommends and which to avoid.
- Storage: you will need room for the unit and its charging and cleaning base.
- Upkeep: plan to empty and rinse the tanks and replace the roller and filter on the schedule in the manual.
- Runtime: 40 minutes may be enough for one floor, but a larger home may need a recharge.
