The EUHOMY BM-02 is an automatic bread maker with a 2 lb capacity and 25 built-in programs. You add the ingredients, pick a program, and the machine kneads, proves and bakes. It also has automatic dispensers for yeast and for fruit and nuts, which are the features that set it apart from simpler machines. Here is what the specs mean and what to check first.
25 programs, from basic loaves to jam
EUHOMY lists programs for Basic, Gluten-Free, Multigrain, Whole Wheat and French bread, plus dough, yogurt and jam. Dough-only programs knead and let the dough rise, then stop so you can shape and bake it in your own oven, which suits rolls and pizza bases. A customizable program lets you set kneading, rising and warming times yourself. The program numbers are printed on the upper cover, and a recipe book is included for reference.
Loaf size and crust colour
You can choose from three loaf sizes (1 lb, 1.5 lb and 2 lb) and three crust shades (light, medium and dark). A 2 lb loaf is generally large enough for a family, while the smaller sizes make sense for one or two people so bread is eaten before it goes stale.
Dispensers: yeast, fruit and nuts
The BM-02 has a yeast dispenser and a fruit and nut dispenser. These hold ingredients back and release them at a set point in the cycle. Nuts and dried fruit added too early are usually crushed by the kneading paddle, so releasing them late helps them stay distributed through the loaf. EUHOMY says both the pot and the nut dispenser are dishwasher-safe.
Heating, noise and timers
A 650W heating element is rated to give even heat and a golden crust all round. EUHOMY says noise is reduced to 55 dB, which is roughly the level of normal conversation. A 13-hour delay timer lets you load the pan at night and wake up to bread, though recipes with perishable ingredients such as fresh milk or eggs are generally better not left sitting for hours; follow the manual. There is also a 1-hour keep-warm function and a 15-minute power-outage memory.
Design and cleaning
A viewing window lets you watch the loaf, and the lid has an insulated handle. The non-stick pan has a quick-release design: turn it and lift. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. EUHOMY recommends high-sugar-tolerant yeast and suggests an optional 10-minute bake cycle before first use, to reduce odours.
In the box
EUHOMY lists an oven mitt, measuring spoon and cup, a hook and a cookbook, and states the machine is UL-certified with a one-year warranty.
What to check before you buy
- Counter space and weight: the machine is about 12.8 x 16.1 x 15.9 inches and 10.5 lb, so find a spot with room to open the lid.
- Loaf shape: bread machine loaves are typically a tall block shape with a hole from the paddle, so check that suits you.
- Dietary needs: the gluten-free program changes the timings only; check ingredient labels yourself.
- Ingredients: bread machine flour and yeast guidance in the manual affects results.
- Power and placement: leave clearance around the vents and use a socket on a suitable circuit.
- Cleaning: confirm which parts are dishwasher-safe and whether you have room for the paddle and pan.
