The VEVOR ZLCK-A2 is a roll of black PVC flooring made to cover a garage, workshop or similar hard floor. It protects bare concrete from drips and tyre marks and gives a surface that is easier to wipe down. The roll is 7.5 x 20 feet, so it is sized for a vehicle bay rather than a single parking spot.
What the size covers
VEVOR gives the dimensions as 7.5 x 20 ft (2,280 x 6,100 mm), which works out to 150 square feet. The brand says that is enough for mid-size and compact SUVs, sports cars, motorcycles and golf carts, and it also names warehouses, trunks and sidewalks as places to use it. The shipping weight is listed at 72.7 lb (about 33 kg), which is typical for a roll of thick PVC, so expect to need a second pair of hands to unroll it.
Because the mat is sold as one piece, measure the floor first. Allow for the width of the vehicle, the space for doors to open and any drains or steps along the way.
What 2.2 mm of PVC means
Thickness decides how well a mat copes with weight and wear. VEVOR rates this one at 2.2 mm of heavy-duty PVC and says it withstands trailers, trucks and heavy vehicles without deformation. In general, a thicker sheet resists tearing and indentation from point loads, such as a jack stand or a kickstand, better than a thin one. Any flexible mat can still mark under a sharp, concentrated load, so a plate under a stand is a sensible habit.
The diamond pattern and grip
The surface has a raised diamond-plate pattern. VEVOR says it improves traction, so walking and parking feel secure even when the floor is wet. A textured surface typically helps shoes grip, but wet, oily or dusty patches reduce traction on any floor, so it still pays to clean spills promptly.
Laying it down and cutting it
A roll of double-sided tape is included to hold the mat in place. Tape bonds best to a clean, dry, dust-free floor, so sweep and degrease the concrete first. VEVOR says the mat can be trimmed with scissors or a utility knife to any shape, which helps around posts, benches and corners. Leaving the roll flat for a time before final cutting generally lets curls relax.
Cleaning and fluids
The mat is waterproof PVC, and VEVOR says it resists dirt, mud, vehicle fluids and chemicals. It can be cleaned with a vacuum, mop or damp cloth. Used oil and some solvents can still stain or soften plastics over time, so wiping spills sooner is better than later.
Who it suits
It suits home garages, workshops, trailers and light commercial spaces where the owner wants a washable, grippy layer over bare concrete. It also suits anyone who wants to cover a damaged or stained floor without a full coating job.
What to check before you buy
- Floor size and shape: measure the length and width, and note pillars, drains and door thresholds.
- Fit for the vehicle: confirm the roll is wide enough for your vehicle plus room to walk around it.
- Surface condition: tape needs a clean, dry, flat floor; damp or heavily oiled concrete may need preparation.
- Handling: the roll weighs about 73 lb, so plan how to move and unroll it.
- Loads: check the manual for guidance on very heavy equipment or sharp point loads.
- Upkeep: check which cleaners suit PVC.
