ASUS NUC 13 Pro Mini PC (Core i5-1340P, 32GB): features, specs and fit

The ASUS NUC 13 Pro is a mini desktop PC, a complete computer small enough to sit beside a monitor or mount behind it. This listing describes a configuration with an Intel Core i5-1340P processor, 32GB of memory and a 256GB PCIe SSD, with the model number 90MB17F0-M0EAY0. It suits people who want a small, quiet-footprint desktop for work, study or a home office.

A note on the listing

The listing's feature section is empty, and its description text refers to a different product, an ASUS TUF Gaming motherboard. This page therefore sticks to the specifications in the listing title and does not rely on that description. Confirm the exact configuration with the seller and on the ASUS site before relying on any detail.

Processor and graphics

The Intel Core i5-1340P is a 13th-generation chip with 12 cores, according to the listing. It is a mobile-class processor, so it is built to balance performance with low power use and heat, which is why it fits in a small case. Graphics come from Intel Iris Xe, integrated into the processor. Integrated graphics typically handle video playback, office work, multiple displays and light creative tasks, but they are not designed for demanding modern games.

Memory and storage

The configuration lists 32GB of RAM, which is generous for a mini PC and typically leaves room for many browser tabs, spreadsheets, video calls and virtual machines at the same time. The 256GB PCIe SSD loads the operating system and applications quickly. It is on the small side for large media libraries, so external or network storage may be useful.

Wireless, operating system and software

WiFi 6E adds access to the 6 GHz band where your router and region support it. The title lists Windows 10 Pro and states that Microsoft Office Pro Plus is included with a lifetime licence. The seller is the source for licensing and activation details, so check them before you rely on that software.

Size and weight

The unit measures 9.6 x 4.1 x 9.6 inches and weighs 2.2 lb (about 1 kg), as listed. Because the casing is small, it is easy to tuck onto a shelf or attach behind a display, depending on the mounting options available.

Who it suits

It suits home offices, classrooms, reception desks and anyone who wants a compact Windows PC for everyday tasks, and does not need a dedicated graphics card.

What to check before you buy

• What's in the box: confirm the power adapter, any mounting bracket and whether a monitor, keyboard or mouse is needed.
• Ports: check the ASUS specification for the number of display outputs, USB ports and Ethernet.
• Displays: confirm which video outputs support your monitor's resolution and refresh rate.
• Storage: decide if 256GB is enough or whether you will add more.
• Software: confirm the operating system version and the licensing of any bundled software.
