The VEVOR battery powered backpack sprayer is a 4-gallon (15 L) sprayer that you wear on your back. A rechargeable battery drives the pump, so there is no hand pumping to build pressure. It is meant for jobs such as weeding, watering, cleaning and spraying across a garden or yard.

Battery, pressure and flow

The sprayer uses a 12V 8Ah lithium-ion battery. VEVOR says one charge gives 4 to 6 hours of spraying. Pressure is adjustable from 0 to 90 psi with a knob, and at the maximum setting VEVOR says the flow reaches up to 4.1 L/min. Lower pressure typically suits a gentle mist or delicate plants, while higher pressure helps reach farther or cover a wider area.

Nozzles and wands

The sprayer comes with 8 nozzles and 2 wands. The brass wand extends from 21.5 to 39.4 inches (about 55 to 100 cm), which helps with reaching under shrubs or up to higher growth. The plastic wand is described as suitable for bleaching agents and other corrosive liquids. Different nozzles typically give patterns from a fine mist to a more direct stream.

Comfort and carrying

The shoulder straps are widened and there is cushioning on the back, which VEVOR says reduces fatigue over long jobs. A full 4-gallon tank of liquid weighs roughly 15 kg (about 33 lb) before the sprayer itself, so comfort matters. The handle has a grommet that lets you lock the trigger for continuous spraying.

Filling and monitoring

The enlarged water inlet has a filter screen to keep debris out of the pump, and the translucent tank has gallon markers so you can see the level. The sprayer measures 14 x 14 x 39.4 inches (about 36 x 36 x 100 cm).

Why battery power changes the job

A manual pump sprayer needs repeated strokes to keep pressure up, and the pressure drifts as you work. With a battery pump the pressure stays set at whatever you choose on the knob, so the spray pattern is more consistent from the first row to the last. That matters on larger gardens, hedges or paths, where hand pumping can tire your arm well before the tank is empty. The trade-off is that you depend on a charged battery and a pump that is kept clean.

What you can use it for

VEVOR lists lawn and garden spraying, watering, general cleaning, washing, pet bathing and disinfecting, indoors and outdoors. Whatever you spray, read the product label and the sprayer manual first. Some chemicals need specific protective equipment or suitable seals and materials.

What to check before you buy

  • Tank size: a full 4-gallon tank is heavy, so you can fill it partway.
  • Liquids you plan to use: check compatibility of the pump, seals and wands with those liquids.
  • Charging: plan for charging time and keep a routine for topping up the battery between jobs, since a spare can save a long wait mid-task.
  • Rinsing and upkeep: flush the tank, filter and nozzles after use, and put it away as the manual says.
  • Protective gear: follow label guidance for gloves, eye protection and clothing.
