The VEVOR SR191276 is a white mobile kitchen island on wheels, with a solid rubber wood work surface and storage built in underneath and at the sides. It gives a small kitchen extra counter space and a place to keep appliances, utensils and spices, and it can be wheeled to wherever it is needed.
What it is made of
VEVOR says the top plate is solid rubber wood and the frame is MDF, a common engineered board used for furniture carcasses. The brand describes the top as anti-dirt and waterproof. A wipe-clean surface is easier to live with in a kitchen, but it is still sensible to use trivets for hot pans and a board for cutting, whatever the finish.
The listing gives the overall size as 17.7 in deep, 35.4 in wide and 32.7 in high (roughly 45 x 90 x 83 cm), with a weight of 66 lb (about 30 kg). A height of 32.7 in is close to a typical kitchen worktop, so the cart can sit beside existing counters as an extension.
Storage in each part of the cart
- Drawer: meant for utensils and dinnerware. VEVOR says the drawer glides are smooth and designed to keep the drawer from falling out.
- Cabinet: a cabinet with doors, which the brand suggests for a microwave, toaster or other small appliances, with the doors keeping things tidy.
- Spice rack and towel rack: fitted to the sides. The towel rack doubles as a handle for pushing the cart.
Adjustable shelves
The shelves can be adjusted at 32 mm intervals along the whole unit, so the space can be set up for tall bottles one week and wide bowls the next. VEVOR also says the board thickness has been increased to 5 mm for more stable load-bearing. Shelf boards in this kind of furniture usually have a stated load limit in the manual, so check it before loading heavy items such as a stand mixer.
Wheels and moving it around
Four swivel casters let the cart move in any direction, and they can be locked to keep it still while you chop, roll dough or lean on it. Casters of this type generally roll best on smooth floors such as tile, vinyl and sealed wood. On uneven flooring or thick rugs, the lock matters more than the rolling.
Where it fits
VEVOR positions the cart for smaller kitchens and dining spaces, and says it can also serve as a bar cart or a mobile coffee station. Its narrow 17.7 in depth is the main reason it suits tight spaces, while the 35.4 in width gives a usable work area.
What to check before you buy
- Measure the spot where it will live, and the doorways it must pass through, against 17.7 x 35.4 x 32.7 in.
- Check that your microwave or toaster fits the cabinet opening and shelf height, and follow the appliance manual on ventilation clearance.
- Confirm the weight limit of the top and the shelves in the manual.
- Look at your floor: casters suit hard, level surfaces best.
- Plan for assembly. The brand says it is easy with the right accessories and installation videos, and with a 66 lb weight, a second pair of hands helps.
- Check the colour against your cabinets, since this listing is for the white version.
