The VEVOR double-head milkshake machine is a stainless steel drink mixer with two mixing heads, so it can make two shakes at once. It comes with two 800 ml stainless steel cups. VEVOR positions it for milk tea shops, coffee shops, bars and home use.

Two heads, two motors

Each head has its own 180 W motor, listed as 180W+180W. VEVOR says the motors reach up to 18,000 revolutions per minute and describes them as full copper motors. Two heads shorten the wait when serving several people, since both cups can be mixed together. A drink mixer like this is built for stirring and frothing liquids, not for crushing ice or hard ingredients as a blender would, so treat it as a mixer for thinner drinks.

Two speeds

A button switch gives a fast and a slow speed. In general, a slower speed suits gentle mixing and powders, and a faster one gives a smoother, frothier texture. VEVOR says the choice lets you adjust to different drinks.

Corrugated mixing heads

The heads have a lotus-leaf corrugated shape and rotate 360 degrees, which VEVOR says mixes drinks more evenly so nothing is left unmixed.

Microswitch operation

A microswitch starts the machine automatically when the cup is buckled into place and stops it when the cup is removed. This means the heads only spin with a cup in position. Even so, keep hands and utensils clear of the mixing heads and unplug it before cleaning.

Materials and cups

VEVOR says every part is stainless steel, which is easy to wipe down and resists rust. Each cup holds 800 ml and measures 62 x 90 x 170 mm (2.4 x 3.5 x 6.7 inches). The machine itself measures 190 x 230 x 500 mm (7.5 x 9.1 x 19.7 inches) and weighs about 7 kg (15.4 lb), so it fits on a counter without much space.

What it can mix

VEVOR lists yogurt, milk, protein powder, cocktails and smoothies among the uses. Thicker mixtures may be harder on a mixer of this kind, so check the manual.

Who it suits

It suits small cafés and drink stands, and home users who make shakes often and want to prepare two at a time.

What to check before you buy

  • Counter space: it stands nearly 20 inches tall, so check clearance under cabinets.
  • Mixing needs: it is a drink mixer, so check it suits the thickness of your recipes.
  • Cup volume: each cup holds 800 ml, but fill levels should follow the manual.
  • Cleaning: wash cups and heads after use as the manual advises.
  • Power: check the plug and voltage match your outlet.
