The DREAME Aero Ultra Steam (model HHR32F) is a wet-dry floor cleaner that vacuums and mops at the same time. What sets it apart in the brand's description is that it offers three ways to clean: steam, hot water and foam. The idea is to match the method to the mess instead of using one setting for everything.

Three cleaning methods

DREAME names each method:

  • SaunaClean steam reaches 392°F (200°C). The brand says it helps lift dried-on stains.
  • ThermoRinse hot water at 194°F (90°C) is meant for greasy kitchen messes.
  • FoamWash is aimed at pet accidents and lingering odours, according to the listing.

Heat generally loosens grease and dried residue faster than cold water, which is the logic behind the first two. As with any steam product, check the manual for which floor types are approved before using it.

30kPa suction and the lie-flat body

The Aero Ultra is rated at 30kPa of suction, meaning 30,000Pa. Higher figures generally indicate a stronger pull, though brush design and the seal at the nozzle also decide how well it picks up wet and dry debris together.

The body is about 3.88 inches (roughly 10 cm) tall and lies back a full 180°, so it can reach under low furniture such as sofas and beds. Many upright machines can't get that low, and dust gathers in those spots.

Hair and streaks

A Dual Scraper System combines TangleCut 2.0 with a flat scraper. DREAME says the first handles hair and pet fur, while the second removes excess water from the floor so it dries with fewer streaks.

GlideWheel and Smart Mode

GlideWheel is a powered-assist system. DREAME says it makes the machine feel lighter to push and pull. This matters because wet-dry machines are heavy: the listing gives a weight of 18.3 lb (about 8.3 kg).

In Smart Mode the machine detects the type of mess and adjusts suction and solution flow automatically, according to the brand.

Self-cleaning

After use, the machine cleans its own brush roller and base with high-temperature steam and 203°F hot water, then dries the brush with 203°F hot air. DREAME says this takes one press. Cleaning and drying the roller is the part most people skip with traditional mops, and it is also where odours tend to start.

Who it suits

It suits homes with hard floors, such as tile, vinyl, laminate or sealed wood, especially with pets or small children where spills and crumbs are daily events. The low profile is useful in homes with plenty of furniture to get under.

What to check before you buy

  • Floor compatibility: check the manual for steam and heated-water limits on wood, laminate and other sensitive floors.
  • Weight: 18.3 lb is manageable on one level, but think about stairs.
  • Clearance: measure the gap under your lowest furniture against the 3.88-inch body.
  • Consumables: find out which cleaning solutions the foam function uses and how they are supplied.
  • Upkeep: check how often the tanks, filters and brush roll need attention.
  • Storage: plan for the base station and a spot to dry the brush.

The short version

  • A wet-dry vacuum and mop, model HHR32F, weighing 18.3 lb.
  • Three methods: 392°F steam, 194°F hot water and foam.
  • 30kPa suction in a 3.88-inch body that lies flat to 180°.
  • Dual scraper system for hair and streak reduction, with GlideWheel push assistance.
  • One-press self-cleaning with 203°F water and hot-air drying.
