The Bestier L-shaped gaming desk (model H103710EEU-H103413BEU) is a corner desk with a tiered hutch on top, built-in power and USB charging, and LED lighting. It's aimed at gaming and home-office setups that need a lot of surface and storage in a corner of the room.

The L-shaped, reversible layout

An L-shaped desk gives two work surfaces at right angles, so a monitor and keyboard can sit on one side and papers, a laptop or a console on the other. Bestier says this one is reversible, so the long side can go on the left or the right depending on the room. The overall footprint is about 42.0 x 32.5 inches, and the desk stands 53.1 inches tall including the hutch (about 107 x 83 x 135 cm).

The four-tier hutch and storage

The top hutch gives four tiers of shelving. A two-tier open shelf on the left suits a CPU stand, notebooks and other items, while the right side has an iron hook and a foldable cup holder for headphones and a drink. Bestier also lists binder clips and magnetic pieces for displaying small items. The shelves are open, so loose items on them are still visible and within reach.

Built-in power

The desk has two power outlets and two USB charging ports, which can keep a phone, speakers, headphones or controllers charged without a separate power strip on the floor. The listing gives no wattage or amperage limits, so check the manual before plugging in several devices, and don't treat it as a replacement for a surge-protected strip if you have sensitive equipment.

Frame and stability

The top is particleboard on a metal frame, with an X-shaped crossbar for stability and adjustable foot pads for uneven floors. Particleboard is a common, light material for desks like this, but it won't take much weight on the shelves; check the weight limits in the manual. The whole desk weighs 35.3 lb (about 16 kg), which is manageable for one person to move and assemble but might still call for a helper.

LED lighting and finish

Integrated dynamic LED lighting adds a coloured glow around the setup. The finish is carbon-fibre black. Bestier doesn't list the lighting modes in the listing, so check the manual for how it's controlled and powered.

Assembly

Bestier says all parts are marked with numeric symbols and come with detailed instructions. Desks of this type are usually flat-packed and need basic tools and some floor space for assembly.

Who it suits

It suits gamers, students and home-office users with a corner to fill, and anyone who wants a monitor, tower and accessories organised on one piece of furniture.

What to check before you buy

  • Space: measure the corner, including the 53.1-inch height under any shelves or windows.
  • Monitor and equipment size: make sure your screens, speakers and tower fit the surface and the shelves.
  • Outlet reach: check where the desk's cable will run to the wall outlet.
  • Weight limits: read the load limits for the desk and shelves in the manual.
  • Orientation: decide which side the long section goes on before assembly.
  • Assembly: check which tools you'll need and who can help.
