The Seesii SP12 Ultra is a battery-powered pump for moving diesel and kerosene from a drum or tank into equipment. Because it runs on its own batteries, it needs no vehicle connection or power cable. That suits farms, jobsites and boats, where the fuel is often far from an outlet.

Cordless operation

You install the battery, connect the hoses and start pumping. Seesii lists farms, jobsites, RVs, boats and outdoor equipment as typical uses, including filling machines such as a lawn mower, tractor or small yacht. The kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries.

Battery runtime

Seesii says a charge can transfer eight full 55-gallon barrels of diesel or kerosene under normal temperature conditions, and gives a runtime of 60 minutes. For longer life, the brand advises a 15-minute rest after every 30 minutes of continuous running. Battery performance typically drops in cold weather, so treat the figures as best-case.

Flow rate and motor

A 260W copper motor delivers a flow of about 12 gallons per minute (GPM). That is roughly 45 litres per minute, which in practice means a large tank fills far faster than with a hand pump.

Suction and lift

Seesii lists a suction capacity of 16.4 feet (about 5 m) and the ability to push fuel up to 32.8 feet (about 10 m). In general, suction lift describes how far below the pump the fuel can sit, and push height is how high it can send fuel. Real results depend on hose length and fuel thickness.

Auto-stop nozzle

The self-sealing nozzle detects a full tank. A pressure switch then shuts off the pump's power so the flow stops without you watching. Seesii presents this as a convenience and safety feature. Even so, stay with the pump while fuel is moving and follow the manual.

Compatible fuels

The pump is designed for diesel and kerosene. The listing states it is not compatible with water, gasoline or alcohol. Using the wrong liquid could damage the pump and create a hazard, so confirm the fuel before you start.

Setup

The 78.7-inch (2 m) inlet and outlet hoses connect to the pump, then you attach the fuel nozzle and filter and insert the battery. Seesii says assembly typically takes less than five minutes.

Size

The listing gives 5.0 x 8.0 x 5.0 in and 17.0 lb for the kit.

Who it suits

It suits farmers, contractors, boat and RV owners and anyone refuelling diesel equipment away from mains power.

What to check before you buy

  • Fuel type: use it only with diesel or kerosene, never gasoline.
  • Hose reach: compare the 78.7-inch hoses with the distance between your drum and your tank.
  • Volume: think about how many gallons you move at a time against the battery runtime and rest guidance.
  • Storage and handling: fuel is flammable, so use approved containers and follow local codes and the manual.
  • Batteries: check charging times and cold-weather limits.
  • What's in the box: confirm the hoses, filter, nozzle and batteries.
